Join the Network
Who may apply
Membership is open to West Michigan farms interested in learning about, exploring, or implementing regenerative agricultural practices.
Farms do not need extensive prior experience with regenerative agriculture. The network is intended to bring together farmers with different backgrounds, farm types, and levels of experience.
Email rfnnetworkinfo@gmail.com if you are interested in joining the network or have additional questions.
Grant Program Participation
Membership in the network and eligibility for grant reimbursement are separate. Joining the network does not guarantee grant funding.
To participate in a grant-supported reimbursement program, a farm may be required to:
Complete the network membership application
Be able to meet basic tax-documentation requirements
Receive approval for the proposed practice before making purchases or beginning reimbursable work
Complete a required soil test or soil-health assessment
Provide the required minimum 30% match
Retain receipts and other supporting documentation
Confirm that the same expense is not being reimbursed through another grant program
Provide basic information about the completed practice and its outcomes
Meet all applicable purchasing, implementation, and reimbursement deadlines
Grant reimbursements are limited for the same regenerative practice on the same acres to three funded years. Previous support from RFNG or any other local, state, or federal program counts toward this limit. Farms must disclose prior funding; different practices or previously unfunded acreage may still be eligible.
